Our wedding in the Russian Orthodox Church —
a reminder that marriage is not a contract, but a Holy Mystery.
The crowns placed on our heads were not symbols of royalty,
but of chastity, sacrifice, and love offered freely for the salvation of each other.
We drank from the Common Cup, walked the Dance of Isaiah,
and began the pilgrimage of wedded life as one.
