Hi everyone… I’ve been quiet on here, and I wanted to share what’s going on behind the scenes. 💛
This past week has been overwhelming in every direction. Full chaos mode is a go!!! I’m moving into a new home in Galva with my two little ones and at the same time, I’ve been working closely with the health department to make sure my charcuterie business is set up the right way for long-term success.
It was brought to my attention that because I work with temperature-controlled foods, I can’t continue preparing orders from home. So now I’m in the process of finding a commercial kitchen to rent so I can keep doing what I truly love. It’s a lot to take in, but it’s also a step toward building something stronger, safer, and more sustainable.
With all of this happening at once, I’ve made the really hard decision to pause orders for now. I just started this journey and walking away during the busiest season honestly hurts… but risking my entire business would hurt even more. I want to do things right — for myself, for my kids, and for everyone who trusts me to create something special for their tables.
If you’ve supported me, encouraged me, ordered from me, or even just followed along — thank you. Your support has meant everything, and it’s the reason I’m pushing through all these changes instead of giving up.
I’ll be back after the new year, once the move is settled and the commercial kitchen is secured. And when I come back, it’ll be with even more passion and creativity than before. ✨
