A little Pemberley announcement… with school back in session for this teacher and most of my time spent tending to my own little wildflower 🌱, I’ve had fewer hours in the garden. While I love creating bouquets for you all, I’ve made the decision to close for the 2025 summer season and enjoy these last warm days with my little girl.

Thank you to everyone who supported Pemberley Posies—I can’t wait to be back in early spring 2026 to share the joy of growing with you again. 💕

Grand bouquet going out this morning to a fellow ELA teacher friend, featuring a quote from my favorite author, Chimamanda Adichie. I chose yellow and white blooms inspired by her novel Half of a Yellow Sun, with touches of purple phlox as a nod to her debut novel Purple Hibiscus.

I was so lucky to meet and have a small group workshop with Adichie my senior year in college as I wrote my English literature final thesis on her volume of work ! If you’ve never read any of her work, you need to. It’s so powerful.
