Fun with idioms for these favor tags! For those of you wondering what I was destroying vinyl records for recently, this was the culprit 😂
The tags featured two different border patterns for variety, but each tag was truly one of a kind with unique record pieces adhered to each tag.
And of course these were finished with copper twine and tied onto ‘s addictive Snake Oil! They tied in beautifully with the music theme of the wedding 🎶

I knew I wanted to call back to the Save the Dates for the wedding menus, and opted to use the same plum stock with copper foil. However, we took it up a notch with the floral embellishments with velvet accent 🩷💜🌸
Whenever possible I try to reuse leftover materials, and the scraps from our raspberry velvet envelope liners were perfectly suited to make an appearance on the menus. And the circle shape played into the music and record theme beautifully! 🎶 Swipe to see more ⬅️

Did you know that there are 50 versions of the Love sculpture worldwide? 🤯Philadelphia and NYC actually briefly possessed the same one. Philly’s was originally on loan by the artist for their Bicentennial in 1976. Apparently it was moved temporarily to NYC until a local businessman purchased it and had it moved back to Philadelphia.
This back story was the perfect detail for the Love shared between this New York bride and the groom whose family grew up in Philadelphia 😉. This Love wax seal adorns their wedding shower invitations and is featured in a gorgeous coral peach terrazzo wax that pops against our teal envelopes for those summertime vibes.

This mix of vintage and current postage is the icing on the cake for these bridal shower invitations that went out yesterday. Curated postage helps to create a great first impression AND provides a snippet of your story to guests.
This bridal shower will be a summertime backyard garden party, so we went with the vintage Love skywriting stamps; current Tulip postage to match with our secondary peachy orange color; and then the vintage pollinator stamps. The bay, butterfly, and bumble bees could all be observed in the garden, but the true winner here is the hummingbird, which holds special meaning to the bride and groom. 💌 Plus, who doesn’t love some variety? 🤗

Ran some test prints on the new hot foil press today finally. I’ll totally admit, I was very apprehensive to give it a go. But now that I’ve tried it, I’m hooked! Hildie and I are getting to know each other gradually 🤣
After working with white stock for a bit, I switched to this slightly textured orangey red, and *man* was that an eye opener. Hot foil pressing is a magical dance of temperature, pressure, and dwell time. Oh yeah, and it changes for every material. Definitely felt like the Great and Powerful Oz behind the curtain turning all the levers 😂
Black foil is fun, but we’re moving on to Copper and White this week; stay tuned!
