Felt a little nostalgic today and busted out one of my FAVORITE secret family recipes! ❤️

When my mom made these when we were kids, they barely made it to the cooling rack before we DEVOURed them. And I like to think I’m making my Great Aunt Lil proud by keeping the tradition alive… but now, not just for family—because these are way too good not to share!

🚨 PSA for Parents at the Farm 🚨

Hey moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles… whoever is on “kid duty” 👀

We love having your little ones in the market — they bring so much energy, excitement, and sticky fingers. But yesterday… let’s just say, one lucky kid got to be the Cookie Monster for real. 🍪💥

Somehow, every single cookie in our display met an untimely crunch — and the best part? The parent probably didn’t even notice. (Meanwhile, we were over here sweeping up crumbs and wondering if we should start installing seatbelts in shopping carts 😂)

So, friendly reminder: please keep an extra eye on your kiddos while shopping. We’d like the cookies to stay in one piece until at least… you know… the register. 😉

WHAT. A. DAY.
We kicked things off at 3 AM (yes… three in the morning) to finish prepping for Mundelein Farmers Market — only to be met with another 95° day 🔥. But we powered through like champs 👏🏼.

Then it was straight back to Woodstock to crank out even more cornbread for Hoganville, Twin Oaks Farm (y’all aren’t messing around — over 200 muffins this week alone 😳).

And just when we thought we were done, a hail storm rolled in right as we were packing up… then we got home to no power.

So on that note… I’ll be sleeping for the next 25 hours 🫣😂. See you all next week!
