Keep Our Mountains Safe! Don’t Toss Batteries in the Trash. 🔥🌄
A single battery in the garbage can spark a fire that puts our homes, wildlife, and beautiful mountain community at risk.

We’ve already had 2 fires on site in the past month caused by batteries. These fires can cost hundreds of thousands in damages and could easily lead to devastating wildfires.

Do this instead: Search “battery disposal drop-off near me” to find a safe recycling location. Check the guidelines in the post to see what should be brought to a facility.

Please share with your family, friends, neighbors, and community groups to spread safe battery disposal practices and keep our home safe! Together, we can protect our trucks, drivers, and the place we all call home. 💚

Had a great time at the Woodland Park Chamber 2025 Golf Tournament this past weekend! Our team played in the tournament, worked the booth, and even sponsored hole #9. We were keeping golfers hydrated & caffeinated, handing out snacks, and hosting a putting challenge into one of our mini toters. It was a perfect day to network with other local businesses and have some fun with the team outside the office. We always enjoy interacting with and supporting our community!⛳️

The Lake George Fire Protection District held a two-day pine needle drop off at Station One May 31 and residents dropped off 541 bags of pine needles.

This years Citywide Cleanup was a HUGE successess. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible, all the participating locations, and the members of our community who volunteered. Woodland Park is our home and we are glad to play a part in keeping in beautiful.
