Just a proud young “Unc” and his first nephew ever. I just know they’re gonna be best friends. Got my dose of a fresh baby this morning. It truly is a blessing to be one of the first ones in that hospital room to document the start of a new life.

I got to witness these two get married, grow their family, and buy a home together…one of the sweetest love’s I’ve ever witnessed. She shared that it would be their anniversary on the day we take photos of her family, so I told her to bring a framed photo of her late husband so we could include him. Happy Anniversary, P&S.

The mom asked not to show her children’s faces, which I have no problem with. This cutie pie was right around the same age as my little one, so when I saw her I basically told myself: “we’re gonna wing this”. We did just that, and we still got some super cute photos. I walked away feeling a little defeated, but then the mom messaged me and shared this: “We really enjoyed this session with you! My son said this was his favorite photo shoot compared to the previous ones we’ve had.” Kids are very honest, so I always listen to their feedback. 😂 The best photos happen when children get to show their true personalities and just be themselves.
