Hi Everybody!

It has been a while since I introduced myself. My name is Karin (pronounced like "Corinne") and I am the mompreneur here running Blue Bonsai Printing.

I love working with couples to create unique wedding stationery for their day. From save the dates to invitations to day of items I get giddy about all the details (Nerd alert!).

When I am not working I am a blessed mom to two wonderful teenage boys who keep me busy with their hockey schedule. If you have seen me around a hockey rink you have probably heard me cheering loudly during games or working on my laptop during practices. I have the most stressful job in the rink.... I am the GOALIE'S mom.

On the rare chance I get to relax I have my guilty pleasure.... reality competition shows! The Bachelor/ette (oh the drama of "seeing a future" with someone you met hours ago), Big Brother, Survivor, and The Amazing Race are always recorded by Hulu for me.

I have always loved deckled edges. Gives texture to the cardstock and makes each one truly unique. A beautiful touch for a wedding at Willamette Heritage Center later this year.

Meet my favorite coworker... Rusty! "Coworker" might be a stretch. He is more of a supervisor. Sometimes he even sleeps on the job!!!!! That's ok. I get more done when he is sleeping.

Introduce a "coworker" who keeps you company while you work. If you have people who help you share them too!

A lof of couples this a stationer just designs invitations.... but it is a task filled with detail, intricacies, and options. Fonts can change the entire impression of an invitation. A stationer loves this crazy part. I myself will take inspiration from the couple's venue to decide which direction to go with their fonts. If it is at a winery the fonts will be different than if the wedding is at a barn. The devil is in the details... and one of the finer details are the fonts.
