With it being summer, and having lower turnouts, we have decided to limit Service hours. With a bit of a staffing shortage currently we also will only have one fish fry this month, which will be August 7th, this coming Friday from its usual time 430 until about 7:30 PM, based on stock and turnout.
Less stuff to bring out and pay for, and unfortunately, less options.
We looked at the things that sell the best, decided to go that route and have some really good specials!!

On that note, we will have the following this week!!

Thinking on changing my booking strategy a bit. In the past, we have always booked our wedding dates, giving them the priority for the Saturdays that we have opened during the year.
But this year we’ve noticed a trend where less people are booking their weddings early, leaving us, susceptible to having open dates and passing up festivals and other food truck events that we could be doing.
So if you’re looking for a date for an event, no matter what it might be, will post on our open Saturdays on a first come first serve basis. I will also be reaching out to our existing contacts to book events with us going into the 2027 season.

I am also working on solidifying our fall hours post Labor Day at the Elks Lodge in Wisconsin Rapids. While summer has been slower there, we wish to develop a steady consistent time where we are operating and open for everyone to enjoy. I have not made a decision on returning to door dash when we return. Your feedback may help determine whether we do or not.
We are looking to be even more event based and stay away from being a traditional restaurant operation. Keeping it fun and simple and growing our corporate lunches/catering.

This Weekend Finally We are back Home!! We will be at The Lodge on Lake Camelot this Saturday!! We are bringing out our Smoked Menu with a few favorites and even doing grilled Corn 🌽
