4 pictures worth 4000 words ! I had a great time deejaying the Valentine's Incentive Rewards Party at Gilmer County Elementary School on Tuesday. Lots of dancing from the traditional train dance to the Wednesday Adams Dance. And lots of door prizes from mirror ball necklaces to plush stuffed toys. Everybody had fun, including me !

I don't deejay as many incentive rewards parties as I once did. But when I do I still have a thousand reasons to smile. I was at Vinton Elementary School in Vinton, Ohio all day long on Friday hosting 4 separate parties for all grade groups there based on their best behavior. Go Vinton Tigers. Keep up the good work.

Covid Quarantines were the bane of my mobile deejay business for a long stretch. But I have been determined to stay in the game. And 2022 is proving to be a comeback year. From New Year's and Valentine's parties at Twin Falls Resort Park to an incentive rewards party gig at Gilmer County Elementary I've been able to gradually get by to my work as a full service deejay. The year of cancellations. One of my favorite deejay gigs - the annual Halloween Party at our local YMCA - was just cancelled. And with my blessing. It's not a time for kids or adults to mingle in large, festive crowds. Be safe everyone. When the worst of the pandemic is behind us - we will have a reason to throw a party.

SINCE MOST OF MY MOBILE DEEJAY WORK IS CONCENTRATED IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC GATHERINGS ARE BEING CURTAILED - I WON'T BE BOOKED IN THE NEAR FUTURE. BUT I AM BLESSED TO BE HEALTHY AT HOME. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THIS PANDEMIC EQUATION IS THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES EVERYWHERE. I'M PLEASED TO SEE THAT ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO FEED THE YOUNGSTERS IN OUR AREA DURING THIS PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS.

I can't wait to take my new deejay sound system out of my front room and on the road for the very first time ! Thanks to Bill Knight of Showtime Music in Beckley - who helped me to piece it together - I now have true stereo sound with 2 Yamaha Stagepas 1k units interfaced with the subwoofer package from my old Bose System. My best sound ever ! 2500 Watts ! If you are looking for a state of the art sound system at your next event - this is it !
