It was a perfect day for a wedding when we delivered the wedding decor for Maria Clara and Brett. Colors were strong in Reds and Burgundy’s and Greenery as the aisle was designed in a sinuous form with greenery as the base and islands of flowers there followed the contour with strategic placement scene from all angles as the bride made her way down the aisle.

It’s the first Monday in November and let’s continue to discuss THEME PARTIES.
At ESG DESIGN, we also like to keep our clients confidentiality a top priority especially when we are asked to. So let’s call our client Mr. E moving forward.
▪️THEME: When we were introduced to Mr. E, there was no theme in play. The only thing I knew was he had a band already planned, custom designed (LXX) labels for his wine for the celebration and a dance group of Can Can Dancers he discovered out of Southern California. That’s all Eric needed to create a proposal, a design but most of all, Eric crafted the theme and Mr. E LOVED the idea. What was the theme you may ask? PARISIAN BISTRO and CABARET. See the connection now? The Can Can dancers was all he needed to come up with the design and needless to say, the client loved it.
▪️Budget: the budget was quite liberal with caps of course but we were able to really enhance the design.
▪️Production: With the three entertainers in play for this party we felt that Two Left Feet was the best professional to handle that aspect from sound, lighting, drape backdrop for the entertainment as well as opening and closing curtains in front to make it look and feel more theatrical.
▪️Venue: Isleworth Country Club has a very unique design. It feels European and Mediterranean and it truly offered the next base for this theme and the overall design. Eric knows his venues well and if he does not, he visits them to see, feel the space before proposing the design. It allows him to make your party fit perfectly and that he did. He had custom awnings made that hung perfectly between columns as he knew that there was hardware already installed that he could use and those navy and white striped awnings was the perfect way to create that bistro feel. Well, that was just the beginning.
▪️Design: Here, Eric left no stone unturned and created a design based on the colors of the flag of France 🇫🇷.

THE THEME PARTY
What is a theme party?
A theme party is a celebration with a specific topic as its basis, and includes decorations, food, drink, activities, music, and attire. Themes can be a great way to make a party unique and fun, and can be used for any type of event, from birthdays to baby showers. 
Here are some things to consider when choosing a theme for your party:
🔹Guests: Consider who your guests are and what common interests they may have. 
🔹Occasion: Think about what or who you’re celebrating. 
🔹Budget: Consider how much you want to spend. 
🔹Location: Think about where the party will take place. 
🔹Season: Consider the season or weather. 
🔹Theme selection: Choose a theme that your guests will understand and be delighted by. If more than 30% of your guests won’t know or relate to the theme, it might not go well.
Here are just a few examples of party themes include:
🔸Decades: A theme based on a particular decade 
🔸Movies: A theme based on a movie 
🔸TV shows: A theme based on a TV show
🔸Music: A theme based on a particular type of music
🔸Space: A theme based on space, with metallic decorations, neon lights, and space-themed cocktails and snacks

What an amazing weekend! Congratulations to Natassia and Brennan for tying the knot in Coral Gables on Saturday and we were introduced to this couple by Janine of and the couple loved how we were able to take her amazing design board and translate it into our proposal effortlessly and we delivered just that.
We didn’t do it alone, Janine had an A List of vendors collaborating and I have the utmost gratitude to Aileen with and her team.

ESG DESIGN is in the House! Busy day today. I meant yesterday. Or today? Ohhhh we lost track. Thursday is a great day for a wedding.

“April Showers Bring May Flowers” right? Well that’s been the rule of thumb for ever and when you have a May wedding, an outdoor wedding and especially in Florida, we have two variables.
Rain is a given but in Florida we have the humidity and it was decided that Colleen and James’ wedding would go indoors and when you have a venue that does not have another alternative for indoors with such a guest count, you set the room in advance, temporarily drape out the whole room as your designed and perfectly set tables are staged behind the drapes. So that’s what we did here. Yes, ceremony ends, guests move to cocktail hour and the drapes come down, chairs are quickly stacked and tables are moved based on the diagram and chairs are now set around the tables. Ohhhh it gets real! Real FAST!
Crazy? Nooooo way! Well, maybe a little…. Fast paced? YESSSS! And when you put together a team of Rock Star professionals and your team, we transform that same room from ceremony to reception in an hour. But in a case like this and the size of this wedding, I’ll always suggest to the planner that we extend the cocktail hour to 1.25 hrs because there’s a lot going on that the guests don’t see and we need to leave the space PERFECT and that’s what we did with the help of the venue, the caterer, our team, the planner and her team.
BASE HIT - HOME RUN - TOUCH DOWN - GOOOOOOOL - SLAM DUNK - GRAND PRIX!!! You name the sport, we took home the championship and we do it every time.
A BIG SHOIT OUT to my team on that day as well! Without them, I can’t do this alone. It takes a village!

Not every wedding in a barn has to be totally rustic. Yes, that’s the vibe that we receive in a barn and we’ve done several rustic weddings. But when your client wishes for a more elegant spin and does not want boho, we deliver elegance at its finest.

The theme was a Night in Havana for the Audubon Park School a use Fund Raiser and we took our client and their guests to Havana without boarding a plane of a boat that evening.

The theme was a Night in Havana and the promise was to take our client and their guests to Havana without boarding a plane of a boat that evening.
The event was a fund raiser for the Audubon Park School at the Winter Park Event Center and our clients were floored! We love making our clients happy!
So the car at the entrance was just the start of the nights festivities. We even hired four gentlemen to play dominoes at the entrance by the car with music for that authentic feel.
