Lake Erie Metro Park has a cross-country event going on tonight until six Ish. They are parking in the lot that we normally park in and camp. If you want to camp along the grassy area, you may have to park elsewhere and move after the meet is done.

Just a reminder we also have a photographer this weekend!

I'm looking at doing a test run of the layouts for our halloween AKC trial at the field in Brooklyn, MI on Sunday Sept 27. Would anybody be interested in coming out for practice? I'm thinking 10am set up to whenever we quit. The field is fenced. Can do full runs or puppy runs. Weather looks to be beautiful. All breeds are welcome, not just sighthounds

Members are free. Non-members $5 per dog run. We will do all the dogs that are present and add on dogs that show up later to the end of the list until all dogs have run once and then go back thru the list. If you run 2 together that is both of their "runs" for the first time. Just trying to keep it fair for all. I'm willing to stay as long as I need to to help people get their dogs running. Would appreciate set up and tear down help. Please message Jessica Epstein for the address and to tell me if and when you are coming.

The premium for our Halloween trial will be out in a couple of weeks. New field means some challenge in updating stuff. But in the meantime I want to share some of the hotels in the area so people can be checking it out. Please contact them directly. Websites say they are pet friendly but I cannot guarantee. Also the address for the field isn't always coming up on most GPS, so if you want to see where the field is put in the neighbor's address 8824 Case Rd Brooklyn, MI
