Since we don't rely on 'online' music services, our music library takes a lot of time to curate. We carry roughly 1.5 million MP3s on our laptops. All incoming MP3s have to be checked to see that they are not broken, processed with a 'volume maximizer' then ID3 tags added along with album covers (if needed) so they can be searched in our dj software. All this insures playback quality is high. Simply put, our music collection is probably the most important piece of gear we own! It is truly a labor of love.
