Anybody out there loved a themed party? We sure do!
I knew I wanted to incorporate some Beatlemania into our All You Need is Love wedding theme, but I didn’t want it to overwhelm the overall ambiance! Here are some ideas (and more to come!) on how to include a theme at your next party:

🎶 is my best friend for unique finds! Mostly everything listed below I found on there.

🎶 Get inspiration from your theme’s body of work! After rewatching the Strawberry Fields music video, I just KNEW we had to somehow get a piano and recreate the design. 🎹 I found a framed lithograph from USA store to show the resemblance between real life and the MV!

🎶 Use the theme in your food! 🍪🍰🧁 I found cake toppers from , & more. I used yellow submarines, Beatles’ logos, silhouettes, Union Jack flags, and vinyl records. .ict also added her own flair to our desserts!

🎶 Find themed memorabilia & décor!
I found adorable mini Beatles buttons from for guests to wear/keep that I put in a bowl made from an old Beatles vinyl record.

found an Abbey Road & Strawberry Fields sign from to hang from our lamp post by the Beatles dessert area

I also found a mini Beatles guitar & drum set that just tied everything together, along with a vinyl slip clover and Beatles calendar from !

🎺 all you need is love 🎺

All You Need is Love quickly became an overarching theme of our wedding. I had recently gotten into vinyls during the wedding planning process since my obsession had grown. I thought to myself, “how cool would it be to have guests take home a piece of Beatles’ history?!” …a wedding favor they can actually use, and/or display in their home to always remember our special night.

I set out on to find around 200 7” vinyls of the All You Need is Love single, with Baby You’re A Rich Man on the B side. Some were produced in England, Holland, Germany, the U.S.…the list goes on! It was such a treat for both our guests and me to open and see where the records had come from. I also received lots of sweet notes from previous owners! 💌

I also wanted a custom 45 vinyl sleeve to encase our records. I snagged a template from . They produce custom vinyls and vinyl sleeves, all made in the USA! I used their wedding invitation option. I sent my idea and the template to .creative.co , who brought my vision to life with her creative brain. We put AYNIL with Hunter and I’s name & date of the party on the front. On the back, I put one of my favorite lines from the Beatles’ song “The End.” The covers came out better than I could’ve imagined! S/o to for being on top of their ish and so great to work with. .creative.co , you are a dear and precious person. Thank you for gifting this design to me! I can’t wait until my husband and I have a home where I can finally display some of my favorite things from the wedding, including this jewel! 💎 🎶

hello……..it’s me! 📞📣

I figured I should introduce myself since I have a lot of new followers (btw THANK YOU!)

My name is Abby, if you fancy. I have a passion for making people feel special and creating special experiences that people will never forget. 💌 If you’re wondering where I’ve been…I got to put this passion to good use for my own wedding reception we FINALLY got to enjoy in September (thanks COVID!) 💒👰🏼‍♀️ I’ve been busy writing thank you notes and catching up on rest and life post wedding planning!

I knew I wanted to do something special for our guestbook. My original idea was having a graphic designer make us a custom Sgt. Pepper album cover ( here) with our favorite things. But then I came across , an AUDIO guestbook! ☎️ The idea of getting to hear our loved ones well wishes years from now made me teary eyed!

was so easy to use and work with. We picked 2 matching phones from their wide selection of styles and sent them an audio clip that guests would hear when they picked up the headset. 📞 Once the phones arrived, we just plugged them in, and voila! 🪄 Our guests were able to leave us voicemails ~after the tone~. FêteFone even provided prepaid shipping labels to send the phones back in the boxes they came in. After dropping them off at UPS, we received our voicemail files a couple weeks later! 🎧📣 It was so fun listening to them with my husband, both laughing and crying at the messages we received. We also got to rehear how awesome our band was! 😂

🔍It’s All in the Details: Part 1🔎

One of the biggest things I look for when putting a gift together is making sure all of the price tags are removed and/or hidden! 👀💰

But…sometimes it’s a real struggle trying to pick a sticker off without puncturing the actual gift. In this case, I didn’t want to poke a hole in the snack pack and have food flyin’ everywhere!!! 🥨✈️

Grabbing a fine point pen to cross out the price really makes a ~mark~ ! The sharpness of the point can actually scratch through the surface, whereas using a sharpie marker can still leave some prices detectable!

💒 It’s officially wedding planning season!!! 💒

I’m back in the full swing of things with our wedding reception/garden party coming up in September. This is the THIRD and FINAL date we’ve chosen after having to reschedule twice! 👰🏼‍♀️

I’m so excited to show you guys what I have planned for our guests…especially the wedding favors 😉 they’re going to ~ROCK~ this world **hint hint**
