Casting call for short film "The Secret"

Synopsis:
He knows exactly who they are.
He knows exactly why they’ve taken him.
What he doesn’t know is how far they’re willing to go… to find out how he learned the secret and make sure no one else ever learns it.

Filming May 16 (May 17 if needed to wrap)
Wichita Falls, TX

This will be a paid/credited production. Food provided but travel/lodging (if necessary) is not.

Actors needed:
Male (21-35 years) - Needs to be able to show fear and have strong facial and vocal control since you're in a chair the whole time. Soft body, strong will.

Female (60-75 years) - Commanding presence with the ability to switch from malice to "everyone's favorite grandma".

Male (21-35 years) - Strong imposing physique. A man of few words.

Submit a 1-2 minute video of a monologue with related characteristics to [email protected] . Please include contact info and any reels (if available).

Video submissions must be received by April 27, 2026.

They say that a hard part of filmmaking is working with kids and animals. We've done both over the past few weeks. The kids were great other than one of them trying to sneak in a 6-7. The animals not so much. One dog marked his territory on our tripod, another dog kept making noises during filming, and the hippo couldn't get her blocking correct.
