Root + Bloom Flower Patch

Root + Bloom Flower Patch Root + Bloom Flower Patch is a place where flowers, people, and stories grow together. Welcome to Root + Bloom! Thanks for being here!

Through our blooms, gatherings, and shared moments, we hope to create a space where beauty flourishes, connections grow, and every season tells a story. I’m Haley, flower enthusiast with deep roots in farm life and a love for watching things grow. Root + Bloom began in 2025 as a personal patch for planting beauty and finding creativity. It’s still growing, but my hope is that this space becomes a place for blooms, connection, inspiration, and maybe even gatherings and workshops down the road. If you love flowers, DIY, and slowing down to enjoy the seasons, you’re in the right place. I can’t wait to see where this journey leads.

Ever propagate snapdragons? I’m giving it a try! I started a tray of seeds on Jan. 18 and some are 6” tall already! It was time to pinch them back to encourage branching so figured I’d give it shot and try planting the clippings! I used a little growth hormone and covered the tray with a dome to encourage strong root growth. Under the light they go!

I didn’t even make a dent transplanting these snapdragons! A couple of weeks ago I tried something new and just sprinkled all the snap seeds I had left into a tray. They are really taking off, so spent some time tonight with my tweezers transplanting 160 of them. So.many.to.go!! I think last year I planted 40 total. 🫣🤪
