Photo taken moments before the double sided buffet opens……. last minute details and checks… communication is key. Where to grab extra silverware in case it’s dropped. Where each item will be pulled from and in what order…. Crew is locked in…. We know the game plan! Everybody knows their position…. fast steps and hustling is only moments away…. Confident the food is on point… we could feed an army…. my stress is now reaching a level 10, although simultaneously, I live for this adrenaline rush. Hurry it up…. I’m ready to start…. Let’s just do it! Yet, in that same moment, I soak in the beauty of this venue… the happy couple…. and how I’m actually not worried…. Because the crew has got me, 100 percent. Crew is not worried….. they know we have it. I snapped the picture. Game time…. Here we go….

🥹🥹🥹 Full Circle Moment…. and I can not be more Honored….

June 10, 2017… Mason Hewett graduated from South Columbus High School. My entire crew happened to be high school seniors. June 10th… was also the day I was catering a huge wedding with over 300 guests, in Tabor City.

Knowing how badly I needed them to work, I also understood that it was their high school graduation day. I really was at a loss of what to do. They deserved to celebrate! But, Mason never missed a beat. “Let me graduate, and I got you,” he replied. Mason not only worked the entire day, he gather an entire group of servers for the event. Mason was my knight in shining armor…. Mason and myself ran this brand new crew…..forks the the left… knives to the right. It was over 100 degrees that day and we rocked it out. A pasta Bar, Appetizer Towers, Giant Buffet, Scraping Plates, Pouring Tea, pulling the trailer… we made it happen flawlessly.

So when Mason Hewett asked me to cater his wedding, I was honored and an immediate, Yes! But for the icing on the cake, he and Mary Grayson choose the exact same weekend… 9 years later. June 6th… South Columbus Graduation Day! 🎓😎☀️ I can not wait to serve and celebrate with Mason and Mary Grayson Tomrrow! See y’all in Tabor City!! ☀️❤️🍾
