At Vegas Events and More, we love celebrating the talented and passionate makers that are part of our family. Today, we shine the spotlight on an extraordinary artist whose journey and creativity continue to inspire — Reinier Ceija Pérez.
Born on September 14, 1982, Reinier began his artistic path in his hometown in Cuba, learning alongside some of the most recognized artists in his community. In 2000, he took his passion to the next level, studying at the prestigious Wilfredo Lam Art Academy on the Isle of Youth, where he graduated in 2004 with the highest honors.
From gallery exhibitions to scenography, ceramics to crafts, Reinier’s work speaks of experience, dedication, and soul. Over the years, he’s held 5 personal exhibitions and participated in over 30 group exhibitions. In 2012, his art took him to Mexico, representing Cuba in a renowned Sculpture Event — and soon after, his journey brought him to the United States, where he continues to write his story through his art.
In 2018, fate and creativity aligned when he met Azucena Calurano, whose own passion for wellness, candle-making, jewelry, and soap crafting blossomed into both a loving partnership and a creative collaboration. Together they formed Ceija & Calurano Artisan Studio — a small business built on the beautiful fusion of art, wellness, and storytelling.
Whether it’s Reinier’s evocative illustrations or Azucena’s handcrafted creations, every piece is designed to share their journey and experiences, offering a personal touch that goes beyond art.
