Having Tory and Matthew’s wedding at Magnolia Manor meant so much to our family. Tory's parents are two of our dearest friends, and sharing this day with people we love so dearly is something we will always cherish.

These photos hold so much of what made it special—the joy on Tory’s face with her mom, the beautiful colors lining the aisle, and a wedding party clearly willing to climb a tree to get the shot! So much beauty, laughter, and love in one day.

Tory and Matthew, thank you for trusting us with such a meaningful part of your story. It was a privilege to help bring your day together and an even greater joy to celebrate beside your family. We hope you always find reasons to laugh together, hold each other close, and surround yourselves with the love that filled this day.

Cheyenne and Landon’s wedding weekend felt especially meaningful to us as we welcomed them and their loved ones to Magnolia Manor. With Cheyenne’s Texas heritage and Landon’s Westminster, South Carolina, roots, their celebration brought together two cherished places, two families, and one unforgettable love story.

From the rehearsal dinner through the wedding day, Magnolia Manor provided the perfect setting for a meaningful weekend of celebration. With accommodations at Magnolia Manor and our sister property, Oconee Veranda House, just across the street, family and friends were able to remain close, savor each occasion, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and treasured traditions, Cheyenne and Landon. Congratulations!

Digging up some wedding wisdom today with the rain potentially headed our way this weekend!

Have you heard of the ultimate outdoor wedding superstition? Rumor has it that if you bury a raw sausage at your venue the night before your wedding, you're guaranteed to wake up to clear, blue skies! Our couple tried it over the weekend with 90% chance of rain in the forecast.... No rain for their ceremony or reception. So......

While we can't promise the weather gods will honor the trade, we loved diving into where this quirky trend actually comes from:

Old-School Roots: The ritual likely traces back to rural farming traditions across Central Europe and Spain. Farmers used to bury meat offerings in their fields to protect precious crops from heavy storms and invite abundance. Over time, couples adapted it to protect their big day instead!

The Modern Glow-Up: Thanks to viral trends on TikTok and Instagram, "planting a sausage" has swept through weddings across the UK and Australia, quickly making its way to outdoor venues everywhere.

A Little Peace of Mind: Planning an outdoor celebration comes with a lot of moving parts. Much like setting out a specific statue or burying a bottle of bourbon, taking part in a fun, playful ritual gives couples a sense of comfort and control over an unpredictable forecast.

We love seeing the fun traditions our couples bring to the property! But if you do decide to test this theory on our beautiful lawns, we have just one tiny request: please make sure the local wildlife doesn't see your hiding spot, or you might have a few uninvited groundhog joining the after-party!

Tess and Adam’s wedding brought timeless elegance to the peaceful beauty of our Woodland Chapel. Classic calla lilies and the gentle sounds of the harp created such a romantic setting as they began their life together. With sweet smiles, loved ones close by, and the woods surrounding them, their day was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are filled with love.
