We are so proud to introduce you to our consignor of the week, Courtney Miller. Not only is he a wonderful author, but he has been instrumental in the preservation and restoration of Beckwith Ranch. We have a wonderful selection of his work in our Guest House Gift Shop, including his comprehensive book on the history of The Beckwith Dynasty.

Courtney Miller is the multi-award winning author of the seven-book series The Cherokee Chronicles which has received widespread acclaim in the Native American Community for authenticity and has received five international awards so far. Courtney has written over 200 articles for the online magazine Native American Antiquity. He is considered an expert on ancient Native American cultures. His newest book series, The White Feather Mysteries, is carrying on his award-winning tradition; the manuscript for book two, It’s About Time, was the winner of the 2016 Extravaganza Draft to Dream Book Competition. Courtney shifted careers from business management to writing in 2012 and now resides in the Wet Mountain Valley in Southern Colorado with his wife Lin.

Good morning, we are excited to announce that we now have local honey available in our Guest House Gift Shop. Happy Tuesday to everyone. We are only a few days away from the season opener at the Historic Beckwith Ranch in Westcliff CO. We wanted to share a sneak peek of the Guest House Gift Shop at Beckwith Ranch. You will find treasures and gifts to fill every occasion. We feature local artists, authors, and crafters. There is something for everyone at the Guest House Gift Shop. Come and celebrate with us on Saturday June 6th. We look forward to seeing you.

We are on a roll! Another anonymous awesome $50 donation in the drop box. We rely entirely on donations from people like you to fund everything we do here. We also have the regular bills like propane, electric and the big one property insurance. Thanks for the kind donation.

Saturday June 6th is our celebration of the 2026 season.

Please join us for a full day of activities. Ranch tours, Root beer floats and a GIGANTIC BOOK FAIR. At 1pm to 3pm Lisa Gurian “Let’s Talk Horses”. Lisa’s 3 horses will demonstrate some techniques for trailer, bridge and step training. Plus the Guest House Gift Shop has an all new look and interesting new inventory, 11 am to 4pm.

At 4:30pm there will be a Western BBQ dinner and then a presentation by Wetmore resident Jerry Draper. The Draper family has been involved with the production of movies made in the Valley for decades with the use of their ranch, horses, cattle, wranglers, wagons and buggies. After the short presentation there will be a viewing of the 1977 movie shot right here in our Valley, “Comes A Horseman” starring Jane Fonda, James Caan and Jason Robards. What a great idea for “Date Night”

Dinner and a Movie. All this for $20 per person.
