During my time off I asked friends, family, and even some past client's what they found to be one of the most stressful aspects of planning a photoshoot? The majority said "Finding coordinating wardrobe pieces for the entire family."

Guess what? Stress no more mama! Wardrobe for you and your littles is included in your session fee. Long gone are the trips to the mall or countless hours spent on the internet. I'm here to serve you and make this process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

During our pre-session consultation, you'll have access to over 30 high-end dresses that are selected to be flattering on women. And for your babies... we carry outfits for children as little as newborn and all the way up to 3 years of age.

Don't think I've forgotten about the dads! At the moment I only carry a select amount of shirts, but I plan on changing that and offering a larger wardrobe selection by January 2020.

When it came to choosing a location for this family session I asked Blis “Do you trust me?” Without hesitation she said “I trust your vision... you pick.” With only a screenshot from google maps she was confident in my selection. Well... here we are. This is what trust looks like. ❤️

A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph this awesome family. Year 3 and we all agreed it’s the best session to date! My approach was very different this time around. I treated this session more like a date, you could even call it a playdate of sorts. Out of the 50 minutes we spent together only 5 of them were spent on really posed positions. I wanted the focus to shift this year and reflect this family’s fun-spirited nature, silly sense of humor, and above all love, they all share for one another in each and every image.

I have a lot of families that come to me only once a year for their annual family portrait session. This is one of them. Moving forward I want each of our sessions to be timeless. I want each one of them to look back at our time spent and cherish their images for years to come. Each and every one of these sessions has been carefully tailored to them, and I know their photos will mean that much more to them. It’s art we created together, and for that, I am forever grateful.

Often times parents will plan on getting newborn photos, but what about the cutest stage of all? I love and I mean love newborn sessions, but I really think one of the best times to photograph your little one is between 6-10 months when baby is sitting securely on their own. Here are 4 reasons why I believe sitter sessions are the best time to photograph babies:

1. Variety in poses: When a baby can sit up, you have much more variety than if you were to photograph your baby laying down.

2. Personality - Sitter sessions are a joy to photograph as your little one has started developing quite the personality!

3. More tolerant to strangers - At this age babies tend to be very easy to entertain and more likely to connect and then when they’re older and more likely to be fearful of people they don’t know.

4. Baby stage - This stage in your child’s life is gone In just a flash. It’s truly an amazing stage to document – chubby arms and legs, smiles on demand, what’s not to love!
