Today I found the most WONDERFUL cookie entrepreneur at The Farmer’s Market in West Monroe: EMERGENCY CRAVINGS! Oh! My! GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!! As a self proclaimed cookie connoisseur, I must say, these are not only the picture of perfection, they taste absolutely AMAZING!!!!! To those of you who responded to our offer of a free gift set from MediScents Apothecary, you may pick them up tomorrow afternoon (1-5) from our office at 2200 Cypress Street in West Monroe. (The office at the front of Kimball’s) Please let us know you’re coming so we can have your gift ready for you. All electricity is currently out in much of West Monroe, including our office, due to five utiiity poles being knocked down on North 7th Street. Stay safe and we’ll see you tomorrow! It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since we began work on The Landing, creating a chic and comfortable updated atmosphere in a building that once held memories for so many. Our goal was to give it a new life, which was accomplished and appreciated by so many who visited, attended our events or held their own events there throughout the year. We never grew tired of hearing gasps of approval and compliments on the incredible and innovative improvements.

For those of you who took the opportunity to visit The Landing on the Bayou, thank you. For those of you who passed up the opportunity for "someday," we hope you get that chance. Our commitment was for one year to test the waters and see how the venue would work for us and the community. Regretfully, we are ending our year and the business, as venues are more plentiful now than they were a year ago, and circumstances changed.

Thank you to all who helped us along the way. It was an awesome opportunity.
Our wish is for more happy times to come at this location into which we poured our creativity, resources and much hard work, and that our dream of transforming this iconic location would be carried on into the future.
