Bayou Beats has been more than a business—it’s been a blessing to our family. 💜🎧

What started as a creative way to serve schools and communities has grown into something that’s taught us so much more than music and lights. It’s helped us teach Roman the importance of hard work, chasing your dreams, and what it means to earn every dollar with integrity. Watching him load gear, cheer on party-goers, and take ownership in something we built together has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

And then there’s Garrett Dunn. 💫

Garrett came into our lives 17 years ago when we were youth pastors at a church alongside his dad. Over the years, he’s popped in and out—but now he shows up in such meaningful ways. Whether it’s stepping in to DJ a camp, jumping in at the last minute behind the booth at a school event, or just being available when we need an extra hand—he’s been there. Always dependable. Always joyful. Always bringing light to those around him.

He gives so much of his time and heart, and his presence has been a gift. Roman looks up to him like the big brother he never had—and to us, he feels like one of our own. He’s godly, funny, thoughtful, and has become such a steady, uplifting part of our lives.

Bayou Beats has been a lot of things—but more than anything, it’s been a reminder that God works in the details. 🙌🏼

We’re incredibly grateful for the doors this little business has opened and the people it’s brought into our story. 💖

Today we celebrate the incredible women who have shaped our lives in ways big and small. Biological moms, adoptive moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, mother figures, spiritual moms, and mentors—you each carry a love that changes lives. You’ve stood in the gap, wiped tears, cheered us on, prayed over us, and held it all together when no one else could.

Your strength teaches us resilience.
Your patience teaches us grace.
Your sacrifices teach us love.

At Bayou Beats, we believe in celebrating community, joy, and the people who make life brighter—and no one shines brighter than the women who’ve mothered us with compassion, wisdom, and fierce love.
