As best as I can tell, Reloop has not officially discontinued the SPiN. Availability here in the states has gotten pretty lean though.

It makes me trés sad cos it’s getting hard for my students to get their hands on one. Yeah, I know the PT01 is more affordable but it basically needs a crossfader upgrade right away, and the only other option is Korg’s cool new Handytraxx that costs a lot more.

If any of my followers are into portablism, I just want to encourage you to PYC!!!

I honestly can’t remember the last time I turned this gear on. Stuff happened, things changed, I went after some cool opportunities and wound up logging a LOT of hours as bassist.

No regrets or anything. Bass is my first love, and in northeast Louisiana it definitely pays the bills better than scratching. LOL!

But, I *am* a turntablist and it feels good to get back to it.
