It’s been (maybe never?) since I introduced myself here, and hopefully I’ll have some updated summer images of my life beyond wedding day BTS to share soon, but for now, I am dropping in to say hello, and offer a bit of what I’m all about for anyone new around here.
You will never catch my silly dancing for the ‘gram. Full stop. But you might see a shadow of this behavior if you were my 11yo daughter whose attention I was trying to grab, when I sometimes imitate inanimate objects (like boiling soup, then shouting, “Quick! What am I?”) or jungle animals. Though she recently told me this behavior is totally cringe, a state of being I avoid at most costs. Thankful she keeps me cool. So, just straightforward posts from me to you. You’re welcome.
Beyond the work I create for couples and families—their beautiful weddings and sessions—you’ll likely catch a glimpse of artsy self pics in stories, random wedding day BTS, and occasional candids with my family. I should really distill wedding day photography tips here too, but you receive that in the digital wedding day tips and inspo guide you receive when you book your wedding with me. Perhaps I’ll get smart about sharing a monthly carousel post if it feels like anyone would be excited for it, and not already feeling inundated with advice on how to plan a perfect wedding day ;-)
I’m always open to your DMs, questions, and book/podcast recommendations. I have miles to drive this season, and audiobook recommendations especially welcome.
