Group Classes throughout the week, Private Lessons by appointment (including wedding dance), and First Friday party each month except holiday months (to be announced). Founded in 2011, Blue Moon Ballroom is a full-service dance studio in West Columbia's growing River District. Dance instructors Jim Williamson, Zan Wallach, Eric Blair, and Conrad Haas offer lively group classes and private lessons

in all the popular smooth and rhythm social dances—Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Salsa, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Cha-Cha, Samba, Bolero, American Tango, Mambo, Merengue—as well as Carolina S**g. Our dance parties sometimes feature a live band. Annual parties include our Swing in the New Year, Hearts & Jazz (Valentine's Day), Once in a Blue Moon (whenever a real Blue Moon is on the astronomical calendar), and March Madness. In addition, we hold weekly open dances every Friday of the month—everyone is welcome.
