Last week, more than just glasses were raised 🥂

The Crafted Tavern was honored to provide bar service at “Dinner with the Drivers,” an exceptional evening supporting the Donald Driver Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.

Thanks to the generosity of all attendees and a remarkable matching gift from Northwestern Mutual, the event raised over $227,000 for student scholarships. We are proud to have been part of a gathering that drives meaningful impact for our local community.

That Caesar salad on the menu? It’s doing double duty. We save the lemon scraps, make them into our housemade simple syrup, and use it to shake up some cocktails that are as sustainable as they are delicious! 🍋 🥃

ICYMI, Dan from The Crafted Tavern and Brazen Standard Hospitality, dropped by The Planner’s Passport podcast to chat all things catering, weddings, and the art of a killer cocktail. And, of course, he didn’t show up empty-handed. Enter our newest concoction—Rosemary’s Kiss💋, just in time for wedding planning season!

Citrusy, botanical, and with all that vitamin C, it’s basically healthy, right?

🌿 Rosemary’s Kiss Recipe🍸

Rosemary Simple Syrup:
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup water
• 3-4 fresh rosemary sprigs
Heat sugar and water until dissolved, toss in rosemary, let steep for 15-20 minutes, strain, and cool.

🍹 Cocktail:
• ½ oz rosemary simple syrup
• 1 oz gin (or do what’s in your heart)
• 3 oz grapefruit juice
• 2 oz club soda (or swap out for Top Note Tonic Sparkling Grapefruit Soda)
• Ice & a rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions:
1️⃣ Add rosemary simple syrup, gin, and grapefruit juice to a glass with ice
2️⃣ Stir, then top with club soda
3️⃣ Garnish with a rosemary sprig and feel fancy
