Weirton’s America 250 Celebration smelled pepperoni-a-licious thanks to the contestants of the 2026 Pepperoni Roll Baking Contest. Our judges were tasked with choosing three winners from thirteen entries of West Virginia’s most iconic delicacy on Saturday.

After careful tasting, the top three bakers are:
First Place – Jimmy Selman
Second Place –Haley Gajewski
Third Place – Lindsay Williams

A massive shoutout to the contestants and the parents of Weirton’s America 250 Celebration’s Bike Decorating Contest for filling our contest with your patriotic spirit by facing the torrential down pour to show off your masterpieces! Choosing winners was not an easy task for sure.

Congratulations to the top three bikes that most represented America's 250th Anniversary:

Join us for Weirton's America 250 Celebration on July 4, 2026! Enjoy the America 250 Parade at 5pm, followed by fun activities on Main Street and Edwin J. Bowman Field from 6-9pm, featuring food trucks, craft vendors, water slides, inflatables, games, foam party, crafts, and more. Don't miss the Freedom Fueled by Revolution Car Show on Main Street from 7-9pm. Enjoy live music at the Weirton Event Center from 7-10pm. Bring chairs and blankets to Main Street to enjoy fireworks at 10pm! All activities are free for the whole family.

Specialty vendors Jimmy Bee & Beez Custom Flags, Kansas Kreations, R3D Designs, Glow Zone, and Made With Love will be set up on Main Street near the Millsop Community Center from 5:00pm to 9:30pm.
