Over the last several weeks, life has been a little heavier than usual. I want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding while Iβve been navigating a lot behind the scenes β from an immediate family member nearly losing their life, to hospital visits, kidsβ sports kicking into high gear, my full-time job, and rescheduling sessions due to weather.
On top of that, in the last 2.5 months Iβve only had 4 days off while shooting 48 sessions and weddings combined β so itβs been a full season in every sense of the word. Your support and flexibility hasnβt gone unnoticed, and Iβm incredibly grateful for each of you.
A few quick reminders moving forward:
β’ Deposits = business. Your session is not secured until a deposit has been received. If you have not booked through my website, received a custom booking link directly from me, or paid your wedding deposit your spot is not guaranteed.
β’ If youβre wanting a specific outdoor setting, please plan and book accordingly. My schedule fills months in advance, and last-minute sessions are very difficult to accommodate with my work and family commitments. I will always do my best, but I cannot control weather or natural elements β please keep that in mind when booking.
β’ For my engaged couples: if youβre looking to book The LD Collective for your wedding, I will absolutely do everything I can to get your engagement session scheduled as soon as possible. That said, I only have a couple of days each week available for sessions. I typically book engagements and bridals on Wednesdays or Fridays when possible. Saturdays are reserved for weddings, and Sundays remain open for general bookings. (Itβs not impossible to book a Sunday evening engagement session - I just need to confirm availability around sessions that are already booked and secured by other clients.)
If those days donβt align with your schedule, The LD Collective may not be the right fit for your wedding β and thatβs okay!
With all of that being said, Iβll be taking a short break to reset and catch up. I will still be honoring and shooting all sessions currently booked, and I will continue booking weddings for 2027 and 2028. However, I will be turning off session bookings on my website for the next 6 weeks.
I truly appreciate your continued support and for allowing me to provide for my family. Right now, my family needs me β and I need a moment to reset. *And to share some of my favs from all the sessions and weddings lately! π
