The Waxhaw Mombies, a group of fun-loving moms, have transformed into a spooky, silly, and serious flash mob that raises money for charitable causes and supports each other in times of need.

The Waxhaw Mombies aren’t your average dance crew — we’re a group of spirited local moms who come alive each fall to spread spooky fun, community pride, and awareness for important causes!

What started in 2022 as a small group of moms dancing for fun has now grown into a 20-member flash mob performing all across Waxhaw, Pineville, and surrounding towns every October.

But behind the makeup, fake blood, and dance moves is a deeper mission — to bring people together, lift each other up, and make a difference.

Over the past few years, the Mombies have:
Performed at dozens of community events and parades
Raised funds and awareness for Sisterhood Against Sexual Assault (SASA), helping survivors in our community
Inspired local women to connect, laugh, and dance without judgment

This season, we’re raising money to offset participation costs — things like choreography, costuming, makeup, props, and travel. Every dollar helps ensure that each mom who wants to dance can join us, regardless of financial barriers.

Your donation keeps the Mombies dancing — and helps us keep doing what we love: spreading joy, supporting survivors, and celebrating sisterhood.
