We are thrilled to announce our 7th Annual Cops and Kids Picnic! This picnic gives us the chance to build positive, trusting relationships with citizens in our community as we give away around 100 bicycles! Come out and enjoy hot dogs, bounce houses, an airsoft course, snow cones, music, and so much more! This is fun for the whole family and open to the public.

Red Oak ISD is partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to support its mission of spreading the season's joy to families in need and challenging all of Ellis County to join in the campaign.

The 2023 Toys for Tots Drive and Holiday Event will be held on Tuesday, November 28, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Red Oak High School and broadcast live on Fox 4. The event aims to gather thousands of toys in partnership with schools, local business partners, and other community organizations to support families during the holiday season.

“We are challenging all of Ellis County – our school districts, plus private and charter schools, all municipalities, churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals – to join us in this endeavor to provide for our children,” exclaimed ROISD Superintendent Brenda Sanford. "We agreed to host this live Toys for Tots drive because it helps all our community to support one another."

The public is invited to attend, and all guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to drop off.
