WELCOME HOME!!!

3 Waverly Veterans are returning home from deployment. Nick Riley, Stephen Glynn, and Keaton Boyle will be returning home Thursday April 30th and Friday May 1st. Nick and Keaton will depart Cedar Rapids approximately 2:30-2:45 pm and arriving in Waverly between 3:45-4:30 pm on Thursday.
Waverly PD will es**rt them in from Highway 3 east of town. We will be tracking their real time location. Waverly Fire will have the big US flag flying over Bremer Ave.
We are asking supporters to arrive at the congregate on the Four Queens side of Bremer Ave. bridge at 3:45 pm. Please bring flags, signs, streamers if you can. The veterans will drive by between 3:45-4:30 pm.
We will have our final veteran, Stephen, arriving Friday May 1st. Time TBD, plan soon to be sent out.
Come welcome home the heroes of our community!!!

The VFW Auxiliary meeting is being rescheduled to next Tuesday the 21st at 5:30.
