Let’s try this whole #fridayintroductions thing...I’m Danielle, owner of DCo Lovenotes and when I’m not designing wedding stationery I’m slinging flowers.

Side Note: When it comes to things printed on paper it’s spelled Stationery NOT Stationary. And while we’re at it, please discontinue the fonts Comic Sans and Papyrus. Glad we got that awkward conversation out of the way.

I grew up wanting to do something in the arts field. So naturally I went to school for art! I joke about going to college for colors 😂. I have a Fine Arts degree from UW Milwaukee and I’ve been in the wedding industry for about 10 years. I seem to do a little bit of everything! My style is anything but ordinary...go big or go home right? I like to use my art background in my stationery so each piece has that genuine made from scratch feel. I love brining personal elements special and unique to you into your design. I’m also a font junkie....hence the above statement.

I’ve been with my current flower family Alfa Flower & Wedding Shop for 8 years and absolutely love my job. This is why you’ll see a lot of floral in my stationery. I LOVE flowers! So much, that I’ve even started preserving wedding bouquets in resin...but that’s a whole other Instagram account that I’m just not sure I wanna dabble into! 🤦🏼‍♀️

When I’m not working, I’m enjoying my two cats...who am I kidding they never leave me alone even when I am working! I also love being outside so you’ll find me somewhere in or around water, or disc golfing with some of my favorite people!

Happy July!! We can finally say #weddingiscoming and it feels so good! I totally dropped the ball and forgot to share these beauties during the series finale of #gameofthrones ... Elizabeth and Tim had a #gameofthroneswedding and I couldn’t have been more please with how they turned out. Elizabeth found me online and knew I could pull this off because she saw my #harrypotterwedding invitations on my website. I love doing fun themed weddings! Have a themed wedding coming up? Since I’m terrible at posting to my stories you won’t see a lot of behind the scenes stuff in them. Here’s a look back to the beginning of the work I put in for the feature shoot in the current issue of @premierbridemilwaukee at @storyhillfirehouse to the final product that was published. We used images of the original blueprint as a guide and then took our own images for color reference for the drawing and watercolor. Follow it up with some photoshop touch ups and a great print team and there you have it! I love the process and being able to see the progression to the final product! @ Story Hill FireHouse

Melissa’s mom did calligraphy so to make her invitations special, she had her mom write out their names and the name of the reception location. We then brought in her rose gold accents with rose gold shimmer paper. This classic understated design will always be in style. #weddinginvitations #calligraphy

I’d like to continue to do what I can to help. Here’s what the finished product has been looking like for the majority. This is the one where Rose and Jack end up together. ❤️ Rose found me on @theknot and we literally met the next day. She was getting married at @goodcitybrewing . . . When we met she said, “Call me crazy, but I’m envisioning my wedding flowers coming out of a beer bottle.” We got to work and this was the result! When I found out her fiancés name was Jack, she happily agreed to having me place a sinking Titanic ship in Lake Michigan after I freaked out a little over the Titanic reference. Congratulations Rose and Jack! Your #weddinginvitations paired beautifully with all the other lovely details from the day! @ Good City Brewing
