The Playhouse At Waterville Station is a venue for all varieties of play, including performance, entertainment, education, recreation, art, and culture. The Playhouse is the new home for the Aqua City Actor's Theater (ACAT), a Waterville-based community theater group, as well as the Elm City Community Music School and the Fulton Street Media Group. With two venues available for event rentals ("The

theater" for live plays and performances, "The auditorium" for smaller performances, conferences, master classes, gatherings, video games and entertainment on the big screen, etc.), we dream of The Playhouse joining all the other magnificent opportunities for arts and entertainment that make Waterville a cultural gathering place for Central Maine.

Welcome to Colchester, a small town where everybody knows each other and the pace of life allows the pursuit of love to take up as much space as it needs. Our tour guide is Suzanne, the town photographer, who lets us peek into her neighbors' lives to catch glimpses of romance in all its stages of development. A play about love, nostalgia, the seasons, and how we learn to say goodbye.

The director is looking for 3 Women and 2 Men to play multiple roles of multiple ages.
Auditions will be cold reads from the script.

Suzanne - Female, mid 30s to mid 40s
Mystery novelist/Librarian/Florist/Friend/Emt2 - Female, 30s to 60s
Marjory/Young Woman/Waitress - Female, 20s to 30s

Gravedigger/Young Man/Policeman - Male, 20s to 30s
Hardware Store Owner/Perfume Maker/History Professor/EMT1 - Male, 30s to 60s

We had a standing ovation from a packed house for the final performance of "The Tin Man", presented by Aqua City Actors Theatre

So many thanks to all who attended and enjoyed the performances! Now, tell your family, friends, and any strangers you encounter to come to ACAT's next production. Kodachrome will be performed on September 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20.

Wake up!! You don’t want to sleep through today’s matinee, which is the LAST performance of The Tin Woman! That would be Wendi Richards’ NIGHTMARE!

THE TIN WOMAN, by Sean Grennan, follows Joy, a woman struggling to embrace her second chance after a heart transplant. Haunted by questions she can’t shake, she seeks out the grieving family of her donor. What begins as an awkward, emotionally charged encounter slowly unfolds into a journey of healing for everyone. It’s a story about the weight we carry, the love we lose, and the unexpected connections that help us move forward.
