IG: .com Since founding Cherry Blossom Wedding and Events in 2006, Alexandra Pare has used her love of planning to execute hundreds of weddings. With her professionalism, sense of style, and love for “WOW” moments, Cherry Blossom Wedding and Events is incomparable in the D.C. Alex loves

to build a personal connection to each bride and groom and see their special day flourish. She cherishes the moments when the she’s standing with the bride’s father as he is about to walk his daughter down the aisle. It is that love and emotion that brings joy and gratification to Alex. Since starting the company, Alex and her staff have worked in some of the region’s most prestigious venues, including Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Hay Adams Hotel, Anderson House, Meridian House, Westin Grand Hotel, Peabody Library, River Farm, and The Four Seasons Hotel. Alex has also been heavily involved in the 2010 and 2011 NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) Galas. Alex graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandise Management and began her career at W magazine in New York City. She loves Bikram yoga and spending time at the beach with her husband and dog. Secretly, she’s an aspiring rock star who would love to learn to play the drums!
