IG: .com Since founding Cherry Blossom Wedding and Events in 2006, Alexandra Pare has used her love of planning to execute hundreds of weddings. With her professionalism, sense of style, and love for “WOW” moments, Cherry Blossom Wedding and Events is incomparable in the D.C. Alex loves

to build a personal connection to each bride and groom and see their special day flourish. She cherishes the moments when the she’s standing with the bride’s father as he is about to walk his daughter down the aisle. It is that love and emotion that brings joy and gratification to Alex. Since starting the company, Alex and her staff have worked in some of the region’s most prestigious venues, including Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Hay Adams Hotel, Anderson House, Meridian House, Westin Grand Hotel, Peabody Library, River Farm, and The Four Seasons Hotel. Alex has also been heavily involved in the 2010 and 2011 NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) Galas. Alex graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandise Management and began her career at W magazine in New York City. She loves Bikram yoga and spending time at the beach with her husband and dog. Secretly, she’s an aspiring rock star who would love to learn to play the drums!

We are thrilled to see Corey and Saurabh’s Bavarian themed send-off party (before eloping in Ireland) featured in Washingtonian Weddings!

They served authentic German dishes and created a cuckoo clock es**rt display featuring guests names carved from little wooden birds. We loved all the personal touches!

Oh so GLAM!! What an evening…

L + A’s rehearsal dinner and welcome party was all fashion, sparkles and light at the Renwick Art Gallery!

Guests dined under a colorful net light installation by artist Janet Echelman, which created a festive mood with its changing colors through the three-course meal.

After dinner was a quick room flip to welcome additional guests to dance the night away in celebration of the couple’s nuptials for the next day.

Perfect way to kick off a wedding weekend! Congrats L + A!

With a passion for creating unforgettable celebrations and a knack for keeping things fun and stress-free, Carlene brings a wealth of experience and positive energy to every wedding day.

Carlene’s background spans from planning weddings at some of the best venues across DC, organizing beauty brand launches, brewery bashes, and even government sector shindigs (yes, really!). But weddings are where her heart is.

When she’s not making wedding magic happen, you can find Carlene hiking, soaking up beach days, sipping wine at a local winery, or attempting to master her next yoga pose!

Jamie is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, bringing a rich and diverse background to the Cherry Blossom team.

With experience spanning fashion, commercial real estate, and the charity world, Jamie has cultivated a passion for creating meaningful moments and experiences. While every step of their career journey has been rewarding, their favorite role is the one she hold’s today, where she thrives in helping clients create a custom experience for their special day.

Jamie believes in the importance of being present and appreciating each moment. Her best advice? Stop and savor the day—especially on a wedding day when loved ones gather to celebrate. It’s an honor to be part of such a special day.

In her down time, she loves spending quality time with their twin boys, husband, and their beloved dog Bentley. Whether enjoying family movie nights, hitting the tennis or pickleball courts, traveling, or relaxing by the water, family is at the heart of her life.

We are pleased to re-introduce our Lead Event Designer, Alison Golt!

She is a true fashionista and lives in Maryland with her husband Justin, two little girls, dog, chickens and is soon to be a mother of three! ❤️

A graduate of California University of PA, she got into events at an early age at a catering company on the eastern shore and soon became the Wedding Specialist at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

She has been with the Cherry Blossom team for eight years and continuously receives praise from clients on her stellar service and event designs. She cares tremendously about her clients and loves educating them on all aspects of their wedding journey. Her favorite part of the job is diving into the design process to to deliver a beautiful and personal experience for each client!
