We decked the halls and rocked around many Christmas trees this past week. The Flowers at 38 Team were up on ladders, riding lifts, and bearing the brisk cold, to bring the festive cheer to the DMV. The holiday decorating and party season has only just begun. 😍

Local dahlias are still here! Maybe the last week of the season though. We were lucky to have them in all the corals and peach colors for E+M’s fall wedding.

Lovely afternoon for a backyard rented party in classic whites and gold. Candlelight will glow when the sun goes down. You can never have enough candles, (unless it’s on a birthday cake 😜.)

Almost 21 years to the day since I did my first wedding, heavily pregnant with my daughter and with a fantastically supportive bride who knew she was my first!! Since then I have had the privilege of doing flowers for hundreds of weddings, each one unique. And for the last 8 or 9 years (we both have a terrible memory😂) I have been lucky enough to do them alongside , it was a very very good day for me and when I met Karen and hired her on the spot!! Oh and what about this chuppah?!!! ❤️
