Pinto NYC returns to Washington DC this Friday as we bring him to Deep Tech DC for a special night. Known for his groove focused sound and his releases across respected underground labels, Pinto has built a strong reputation in New York for clean drums, refined swing, and sets that always stay true to the deeper side of house. His presence in the NYC scene and his consistent output have made him a recognizable name in the minimal and deep tech community.

Deep Tech DC

Deep Tech DC isn’t simply another show or weekend party - it’s a vibe.

We give the power back to you - DJs and music lovers; the men and women in the DMV that seek out a platform to play and hear your music and be heard.

Finding its origins at Old Engine 12 on North Capitol Street in the nation’s capital, the first event, known simply as Deep Tech Brunch, took place on a Sunday in September 2016. It was a joint vision between enterprising music entrepreneurs, DJs, producers, and event promoters.

Fast-forward to the present: Deep Tech DC hosts several residencies and pop-up events throughout the district, currently holding regular monthly events at Backbar DC (located underneath 9:30 Club in the U Street Corridor) and Zeba Bar in Columbia Heights. We focus on showcasing some of the best House, Tech House, and Techno DJs and producers in the Mid-Atlantic, while also booking the highest quality, under the radar talent one can find from around the US and the world.
