Just refined the edit on my brother-in-law's nuptials and wanted to share. It's still one of the prettiest and most authentic weddings I've filmed. Look at that barn! And with a square dance to boot.

I opened up this old MC W.Rokkor-HG f2.8 from my Dad and cleaned it up a bit. It's a full manual that gives old school character to today's digital sensors. I love how makes it possible to adapt almost any lens!

To my my wife, my soul's delight: I look back on the life I lead before ever our eyes locked, on the desperate race all men run in search of the one, that through instinct and hope, compel them to lay all priorities and reason aside. So many times, my romantic infatuations seemed like the golden wreath at the end of love's journey, but in truth, I merely settled for desire that always looked away. But when finally our gazes, unbeknownst to me, closed the book forever on the single life of Ched, those other adventures were revealed as the Lord's method of assuring that the love I found in you would outshine those other vanities, as the sun outdoes a candle. Wife, you are the one. You are my unearned crown. You are the gift always meant for me, she who fulfills me and who I fulfill. How good it is to be married to the one all men seek, whose body I always longed to worship, whose soul I bask in, whose desire for me is only matched by my desire for her. How good it is to forget all others, to finally have that which renders all else lesser and mute. The previous life is shadows and dust; the life we live now, forevermore alive and expanding. Now and eternally, I am complete.
Hey, I helped edit the animatic for the development of this commercial at ! So cool to be part of the production-pipeline for something that aired during the Super Bowl.
It was an honor filming my brother-in-law's wedding reception. Being that he's an Old Time musician, and the reception was held in a barn, a square dance was only natural (and super fun, I might add)! He's playing banjo here, accompanied by some very musical family & friends.

It was fun working in black and white for this video. The blank background behind the interviewees is an overexposed apartment wall! Moreover, Wendy Hung's clear vision for the final video was an excellent blueprint for the edit. Very pleased with this one.

Day 2 of production for the Alex Pearce directed short, "Handsome Medicine." Director of Photography Yuito Kimura brought me on board to Camera Operate the BlackMagic Cinema Camera, an easy-to-use 2.5k RAW machine. I love Camera Operating - you're at the heart of capturing everyone's hard work, thus what you capture is appreciated by all. Also, this was a beautiful bunch of people to work with. Lots of smiles, lots of laughing, lots of fun. And Buca di Beppo for lunch - nice. Whenever I had down time, I took as many pictures as I could.
