Option #1 Tasting Like A Pro
In this fun, fast paced 2-hour tasting you will be guided through the process of evaluating wine just like the pros do. This expert-led tasting will train your senses to recognize the aromas, flavors, tastes, and textures commonly found in wine. Most importantly, you’ll walk away with the confidence to articulate your own opinions about what you like (and what you don’t like) to your most pretentious wine friends.

Option #2 Blind Wine Challenge
The Name That Wine, Blind Challenge will test your skills in a fun and engaging wine tasting experience. You will enjoy an evening of fine wine and socializing. A prize is up for grabs for the winner but don’t worry! We give you a score sheet and a cheat sheet with general wine descriptors. The catch is, we don't tell you which wine is which...That's your job. It's a matching game of sorts, and a bunch of fun too.

Option #3 Sensory Evaluation
This tasting is for the wine lover who is serious about learning more about wine. Attendees will learn standard wine tasting terminology as they smell, taste and evaluate components of wine such as acidity, tannin, minerality, cassis, earth, etc by using elements such as citrus fruits, chocolate, herbs and spices, wet stone, star anise, soil, etc. This tasting is a real eye opener to "what's in the glass"!

To Kalon is ancient greek for "the highest beauty" and the Robert Mondavi Reserve Cab is planted in this vineyard. My fellow Somm & good friend Rendall Thomas, delighted us with a bottle over dinner at his home. It was a true beauty!
