Six frames. One complete day.

The smile on her face when her bridesmaids turned around and saw her for the first time. Her dad walked her across that field and never once looked at the camera. He was too busy trying to hold it together. The ceremony under an open sky with everyone they love looking on. The dip kiss in the middle of the lawn that she celebrated with her bouquet raised like she had been waiting to do that her whole life.

This is why I show up to every wedding the same way. Fully present and ready for all of it.

These are his people. And they showed up for him the way only people who really love you can.

Frame one they are locked in. Frame two they are looking at him like they cannot believe he actually pulled it off. Frame three they are letting him know exactly how they feel about it.

The pink suit. The waterfront. The groomsmen who made the whole thing feel like a celebration before the ceremony even started. Herrington on the Bay did not hurt either.

She was the calmest person in the room. 🤍

Which is saying something because the room was everything. Black satin robes, silver balloons, and her girls giving every single second of that morning the energy it deserved.

But every time the camera found her, she was just there. Present. Glowing. Ready.

By the time she stepped onto that balcony and that dress caught the wind, there was not a single thing left to say. The images said all of it.

Earlier she was wiping tears during the vows. An hour later she was standing with her people watching her husband dance with his mother and smiling like she could not believe this was actually her life now. 🤍

Same woman. Same day. Completely different kind of feeling.

And somewhere in the middle of it all the best man pulled out a disposable camera because some moments deserve to be documented by everyone in the room.

Before anyone walked down this aisle, the space said everything it needed to say. 🤍

Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City does something really beautiful in the fall. The pergola. The fountain. The way the trees hold onto just enough color to remind you what season you are in. We showed up early and stood here for a moment before it all began.We love this venue and we love being trusted to document what happens in spaces like this one.
