This… This is why we started! For simpler times, for the kids, for a break from the world and the pure enjoyment of a time honored tradition of chasing down the ice cream truck! 🍦🇺🇸

There was nothing like the magic of the ice cream truck rolling down the street on a hot summer afternoon.

The faint jingle would start in the distance, and before you knew it, every kid in the neighborhood was sprinting barefoot across yards, clutching crumpled dollar bills or loose change from the kitchen jar.

It wasn’t just about the Bomb Pops, Drumsticks, or Choco Tacos—it was about the thrill of the chase, the pure joy of being a kid with one mission: catching the truck before it turned the corner.

That sound instantly brought us together, no matter what we were doing, because it meant happiness on wheels.

It’s a memory etched in time, one that today’s world of food delivery apps can never truly replace.

We are looking forward to joining the Town of Fishkill Police Department tonight for National Night Out!

Please join us for our fourth annual National Night Out at Geering Park on August 5th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM! 🚔🚨

The goal of National Night Out is to enhance the relationship between the community and law enforcement. It is a great opportunity to bring everyone together under positive circumstances, to share interests, and enjoy a great evening.

The Town of Fishkill Police Department is dedicated to serving our residents with compassion and understanding. We believe it's important to show our appreciation to you for the support you continue to show us.

Come and spend an evening with us! Meet your local first responders, listen to live music by the Best of the Hudson Valley Winners, The Carrie Zazz Band, and enjoy good food from local food trucks. There will be fun, games, and entertainment for the kids and tons of interesting vendors to interact with.
