Hi there! We have some news.
We are taking a hiatus from hosting events here, but studios remain available for rent to those in need. As of May 15th, our website will be closing. For further updates, please check Instagram or Facebook.
When we opened in June of 2023, we were the only BIPOC / AAPI-owned art gallery in Vermont, which still remains true.
From the start, our goal has been to uplift underrepresented and marginalized artists and businesses.
We’ve accomplished that goal many times over, by curating and hosting exhibitions and events that allowed BIPOC / LGBTQ+ / youth / women to share their art, stories, food and lived experiences more widely in rural Vermont, and promoting their work.
We are truly grateful for almost 2 years of serving the Vermont art community. We’ve learned so much and loved meeting so many incredible artists and guests, sharing space, stories and creativity with you all.
These are challenging times for family-run / small businesses, and we need a break to recalibrate, for personal and financial reasons. There is still studio space available here, if you’re in need.

We thank you for your support, energy, and the creative inspiration you’ve shared.
Warm Wishes,
The Firefolks
