The folks of Waitsburg, Washington, would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the MVPA Historic Convoys for passing through our little community today!

It was something truly special to see so many working vintage military vehicles rolling through the streets of Waitsburg, bringing a little piece of our nation's history right through town.

These historic vehicles and their crews have traveled all the way from Mandan, North Dakota, on their way west to Fort Stevens, Oregon, following the route of the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery on an incredible 2,100-mile journey.

While the convoy made a lunch stop just down the road in Dayton, they continued their journey through Waitsburg, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to see these incredible machines as they made their way west.

For a small community like ours, seeing a convoy of historic military vehicles rumbling down Main Street is a pretty special sight, and one we're sure many in Waitsburg will remember.

Thank you to everyone involved with the MVPA Historic Convoys for preserving these vehicles, honoring the history behind them, and taking the time to bring that history through communities like ours.

The automotive community isn't just a hobby, it's a passion. One of the best ways we can keep that passion alive is by supporting the events and people who make this community so special.

We encourage everyone to get out, support fellow enthusiasts, and help keep the local automotive community strong. After all, our car community, whether its classics or fresh on the pavement, is strongest when its together.

We had an AWESOME time at Dayton Chamber of Commerce 's All Wheels Weekend Classic Show 'N' Shine!

Their car show committee, volunteers, and community always do a fantastic job putting on a great event, and we're grateful to have the opportunity to support our neighbors to the north.

While this was not a Waitsburg Car Show event, several of us attended to support Dayton's show and spend time with fellow enthusiasts from across the valley. One of the things that makes the local car show scene so special is how our communities support one another. Many folks from Dayton joined us in Waitsburg back in May, and it was great to return the favor and catch up with friends old and new.

At the end of the day, these events are about more than just cars. They're about community, friendship, and preserving a shared passion for automotive history. Whether it's Waitsburg, Dayton, Walla Walla, Prescott, or anywhere in between, we're all part of the same automotive family.

I took quite a few photos throughout the day, so keep an eye on the page over the coming days, you just might spot your classic ride!

Thank you again to everyone who helped make All Wheels Weekend such a success. We're already looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2027!
