This year there were many antique and classic vehicles at the show that either turned, or were close to turning, 100 years old. It’s always something special seeing these automotive pioneers outside of museums and back on the open roads they helped create.

These old machines are more than just vehicles. They are rolling pieces of history that still carry the spirit, craftsmanship, and stories of another era.
Do you have photos of more antique, classic, or vintage vehicles from the Waitsburg Car Show? Post them in the comments below and share them with the Waitsburg Car Show group as well! We’d love to see them and keep the history rolling.

Now that the 2026 Waitsburg Car Show has come to a close, it’s time to look back at some of the highlights from this year’s show.

From the early morning arrivals at Preston Park, to the sound of engines rolling through town, conversations between generations, and rows of classics lined up across the grass, this year’s show once again reminded everyone why the Waitsburg Car Show has become such a special tradition for the community.

Every vehicle had a story. Every owner brought a piece of history with them. And every person who came out helped make the day something worth remembering.

Now we want to see the show through your eyes.
Did you take photos? Have a favorite vehicle? Catch a memorable moment during the day? Maybe there was a build that brought back memories or inspired your next project.

Share your favorite highlights, photos, and memories in the Waitsburg Car Show Group and help keep the spirit of the show alive.

One of the things that makes the Waitsburg Car Show special is that every single person behind it is a volunteer.

There is no big company running the show behind the scenes. No paid staff. Just a group of people who care deeply about their town, their community, and preserving a tradition that brings people together year after year.

Long before the first vehicle arrived at Preston Park, volunteers were already hard at work planning, organizing, setting up, making phone calls, putting up signs, parking cars, helping vendors, and making sure every detail was ready for another year of Waitsburg’s favorite weekend. And long after the crowds went home, they were still there cleaning up and packing everything away.

The Waitsburg Car Show would like to sincerely thank every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and hard work to make this year’s event possible.

To mention a few:

• Tj Crisp
• Hans Olson
• Kevin Broxson
• Joe Giacalone - Director
• Alyson Giacalone - Director
• Wyatt Bohlman - Media Management and MC
• TGR Media - Media Management Entity

Because of you, another generation got to experience the sound of old engines echoing through Preston Park, families got to make memories together, and the spirit of small town America stayed alive for another year.

Events like this do not survive without volunteers, and Waitsburg is fortunate to have people willing to step up year after year to keep this tradition alive.

As a special thank you, the Waitsburg Car Show and its volunteers would also like to thank the ladies of the Waitsburg Celebration Days Royalty for taking the time to pose for impromptu photos with trophy recipients during the show. It added something truly special to the day and helped make great memories for those who participated.

From all of us, thank you for helping make the Waitsburg Car Show and Waitsburg Celebration Days what they are today.

We will see you all again down the road.

Every year, for one weekend, the sound of old engines, laughter, and small town memories fills the air once again in Waitsburg.

From polished chrome shining beneath the trees at Preston Park, to families walking row after row of classics, hot rods, trucks, tractors, and hometown favorites, the Waitsburg Car Show has become more than just a car show. It has become a tradition.

But traditions like this are not built by one person alone. They are built by communities. By businesses willing to stand behind something that brings people together. By sponsors who believe a small town event still matters.

This year’s show would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, and the Waitsburg Car Show would like to sincerely thank:

• Vestas
• Deutsche Windtechnik
• Tidewater Transportation and Terminals
• Van Ausdle Tire
• Columbia i-Connect
• Wildhorse Resort & Casino
• Portland General Electric
• Agricounting Bookkeeping and Accounting
• Double D Ranches
• 2M Farms and Crooked Saddle Ranch
• Northwest Grain Growers
• Basin Disposal
• The Garage Automotive Restoration & Revival
• TGR Media

Because of your support, another year of automotive history rolled into Preston Park. Another generation got to experience the rumble of classic engines, hear stories from decades gone by, and create new memories in the heart of Waitsburg.

From all of us involved with the Waitsburg Car Show, thank you for helping keep Waitsburg’s favorite weekend and Waitsburg’s favorite car show alive and well.

We will see you down the road.

Can you believe there’s only 52 years separating the oldest Ford in this lineup, a 1924 Ford Model TT Dump Truck, and the newest, a 1976 Ford F-250 Highboy? Right in the middle sits a 1963 Ford F100, bridging generations of American trucking history with only 13 to 39 years between each of them.

From the workhorses of the 1920s to the bold pickups of the 1970s, it was incredible to see more than 100 years of automotive history parked together in Preston Park on Saturday. Even with the weather giving us a hard time now and then, over 50 vehicles filled the show grounds and helped make this year’s Waitsburg Car Show another memorable part of Waitsburg Celebration Days.

Thank you to everyone who brought out a vehicle, stopped by to visit, shared stories, and supported the event throughout the day.

We can’t wait to see everyone again next year at the Waitsburg Car Show during Waitsburg Celebration Days.

There were so many awesome vehicles at this year’s Waitsburg Car Show, and each and every one of them deserves recognition, not only for their beauty, craftsmanship, history, or rarity, but for the drivers, owners, and builders behind them.

The automotive community is a community second to none, and today at the Waitsburg Car Show we saw that firsthand.

Strangers, friends, families, and automotive enthusiasts alike all came together during the trophy ceremony to cheer on their fellow car lovers as certain vehicles received special recognition at the close of the show. But in truth, every vehicle that rolled into Preston Park helped make this year’s event something special. That spirit of camaraderie, encouragement, and shared passion is what makes events like this so memorable.

A special thank you as well to the ladies of the Waitsburg Celebration Days Royalty for taking impromptu photos with this year’s trophy recipients... and even getting the MC out from behind the microphone for a photo too! 👑🚗🇺🇸

Most importantly, we want to thank YOU for participating in this year’s Waitsburg Car Show. Whether you brought a vehicle to display or simply came to enjoy the sights, stories, and atmosphere, this event would not have been possible without your support.

Thank you for helping keep the spirit of cars, community, tradition and Americana alive in the small-town of Waitsburg Washington.
