Range TTRC MTG Events Hi there!! We are a group of individuals that love MTG commander and enjoy planning events surrounding the game!!

We are based on the iron range and currently hold MTG events in Virginia MN. We are a group of magic lovers that have enjoyed the game for most of our lives. We got together to bring mtg commander events to the Virginia area of the iron range in Minnesota to give more opportunity to other players to meet up and compete, win cool prizes and just socialize!

Hope everyone is doing well!! Have a casual tourney coming up on the 17th! I (This is Ashley btw if you didn't already know) won't be able to be there due to a non-negotiable happening at my unless house, but i think I can get Triston Zaudtke to come up and keep score for you guys!! It's $10, you get a pack of mtg, play some games, winner gets another pack! I will give him and Christian the names of the guys getting in for free! Hope everyone has a great time! I'll still do reminder posts here and in the discord this week of course. Oh!! And you will have to share space with the guys in the Gundam event as well!!

Hey guys!! wanted to pop on here and update about upcoming events!!

next small event is at Northern Realms Trading Cards May 17th, at 4pm. $10 gets you a spot, a pack and some friends!! Winner overall gets an extra pack! winner winner chicken dinner!!! hope to see the turnout we did on the 25th!!! that was great!! made the place feel so tiny!!! And as always, the shop is open daily at 11 and closes at 9, go in, hang out and play!! Support your local LGS!

Two headed giant is coming up the last weekend of June!! June 27th, at the Mt Iron Community Center! check in starts at 9am ish, games hopefully to start at 10! Grab your partner, build your decks, and register at the qr code in the event on this page, or hit me up in a PM and ill get you on the list!! Cash accepted at the door! $35 per person ($70 a team) gets you a spot, winner overall takes home a full sealed booster box to share of Llorwyn, 2nd place, each player gets a pre-release pack of the same set! I'm so excited to see what your guys have been working on!!

August 15th, we have a 1v1 commander tournament, just to try something new!! Mt Iron Community center, $35 a spot, winner gets a Final Fantasy Scenes box, which if i hear correctly, has some pretty awesome cards in it!! Second place gets a llorwyn pre-release pack! will be setting up the event page as soon as I have the qr code for sign up!! And as always, cash accepted at the door!

It was great seeing all of you yesterday!! So happy to see some familiar faces and some new faces!! Great turnout!! Our overall winner after 3 games was Tasha! We had a tie at 2nd, and seeing I technically shouldn't be playing, and I placed, I gave the next 4 peope free entry to our next commander event! Another great note! We gathered quite a few canned good to be donated to the food pantry! I'll be matching that donation, so yay!! Food in our community means kids won't go hungry. I'll share a picture next week of our donation destination! Here are some pictures from Saturday!!

Our next projected date is Sunday may 17th! I'll have it nailed down this next week what we are gonna be getting into! Right now I have a vote going in the discord about it, so if you want, tell me below what you want to add to those votes!!

A, $10 gets you a spot at the table, a pack and winner takes home an extra pack

B, $5, a canned good and winner gets a pack

C, $35 draft party llorwyn or whatever the shop has in stock

D, $10, everyone gets a pack, and no winners, just fun times and just enjoy each other's time!

Reminder!!! We are having a casual commander night at Northern Realms Trading Cards this Saturday!! Everyone welcome!! If you have a precon, bring it in! If you've played for years and still rubberband that thing, get your butt in there!! Wanna learn? We can teach!

The hope is to have something casual and have community in the area! We have all levels of players in the group, and we are always eager to expand!! Starting at around 4!! Whoever gets the most wins under their belt, i got a present for you!

Yesterday Derrick Lampi-Mart took home first place! Tim Plath took home second! I hope everyone had a good time! Games were long, but you guys brought some great decks to play!!
