Just over a year ago, I was in the same position as many newly engaged couples and party planners—excited to celebrate, but facing the challenge of making it all happen on a budget.
When I found my dream tent setup for our backyard wedding, I was thrilled… until I got the price: $18,000 for just the tent and tables. That night, I cried. The next morning, I got to work.
Instead of giving up, I decided to DIY the best wedding I could—and more importantly, to start a business that would help others do the same.
