A simple idea to bring the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC
together in 2022 for a free potluck meal has turned into a global movement to foster community connection in cities all over the world.

🚨 FREE T-SHIRT ALERT! 👕 🚨

Did you know that Madison High School DECA students printed the yellow t-shirts for our event? 💛 DECA students run the school's Hawk Shop, which makes spirit wear and also prints for outside orgs like ours! They did a great job on these beautiful shirts that our volunteers and Table Captains wore at the event. 👏 Special thanks to Kristin Stotler, Madison's Marketing Education teacher and Lead DECA Advisor, for facilitating the production of these shirts and JMHS student JD Farrow for organizing all the DECA volunteers for our event. 🖤 ❤️

We made a few extras of our shirts and would love to share what we have with fans of our event! We have 11-Large, 5-XL and 4-XXL. Thank you again to all of our wonderful attendees, volunteers and sponsors of The Longest Table Vienna! 💛 Saturday was a wonderful afternoon of sharing meals, meaningful conversation and making new connections with our Vienna neighbors. The sense of community and unity was palpable. We can't wait to do this free event with all of you next year - bigger and even better! There's still time to support our hometown non-profit beneficiary, Rustic Love, with a donation to their mission to help the food-insecure in our community. Thank you for being so giving to all of our neighbors!

Thank you, Vienna, for a spectacular Longest Table event! 🤩 We had a gorgeous day of weather, community and amazing food. Here’s our first sampling of pictures from today’s lovely lunch on Mill Street in the heart of our amazing town! 💛 Thank you to the Town of Vienna Parks & Rec, the Historic Freeman Store & Museum, the Madison High School DECA Club volunteers, the Pod of DC, Belt it Out Productions, Half Pint Harry, Silverado Printing, LLC, Vienna Presbyterian Church, Trace - The Zero Waste Store, event attendees, Table Captains, Planning Committee, and last but not least our wonderful sponsors - Compass Realty, Modera Wealth Management and United Bank - whose generosity made this event possible. It’s also not too late to donate to our philanthropic beneficiary, Rustic Love, who supports the food-insecure in our community.

Thank you to our community partners, Madison High School DECA team ❤️🖤, Town of Vienna, VA - Government and Historic Vienna, Inc for their support of The Longest Table Vienna! Madison DECA produced our event volunteer t-shirts (their in-school business is available for hire!) and they will be staffing our event. Be sure to say hi and thank them for their volunteer work! One important aspect of the Longest Table events around the world is that they are free and welcoming to everyone in our community. 💜 Many Longest Table events in other cities have non-profit beneficiaries for any donations made at the event. Our event's local non-profit partner is Rustic Love 💟, a grassroots organization founded by a Vienna family, which raises money for local organizations that help the food-insecure. We are proud to partner with this organization that has helped feed children in so many schools in Vienna! 💜
