Vegans! This post is for you and others who are curious... it wasn’t on our bingo card to dabble into this, but when a customer has needs, we have a solution. This jack fruit mimic to a traditional pulled pork option. Low and slow using a vegan friendly rub and sauce. Has the texture of an artichoke heart and I was honestly impressed with the rub and sauce killing the majority of the sweetness that comes from the jack fruit. Glad that we can help out and create something for just about anyone who wants to enjoy bbq as we feel it really is the superior cook method. Happy Saturday! Decided to get a little wild last night and smoke a pumpkin pie with absolute zero idea of how it was going to turn out. Took a total of about 2 hours which during the process, I was certain it wasn’t going to come out well. I couldn’t be anymore wrong about that. I’ve never had a pie this good and impressed myself with how well even the bottom crust came out. If you want to try it for yourself, here’s the method I did… kept pie in bbq the entire time. Did open to vent to get temp to drop to next desired temp. Topped with a cinnamon homemade whip cream… 🫃🏼🫃🏼🫃🏼

- 180° for about 25-30 minutes
- 425° for about 15 minutes
- 350° for the remainder of time until filling setup

Was pretty simple and just took the typical method of pie cook time and knew it was going to take a bit longer as ovens don’t really heat the same. Hope you guys give it a go as well. Thursday is national big back day or something like that, so we’re doing big back activities. Couple bone-in pork shoulders rolled for only 12 hours last night due to being smaller cuts. Paired that with some big back beans and not an ounce of bacon we’re spared in this as you can see. Thank you guys for allowing us to keep doing this. Also, we’re taking in orders now for the holidays! Please feel free to reach out and let us handle the cooking this year so you can spend more time with the family. Happy Tuesday! Three days left on the 15% off sale! Here’s one order among a handful that went out today happened to be a solo cook for dietary reatriction reasons. Salt and pepper is about the only thing that can be applied that works for them to add flavor . Pretty dang good looking for essentially a naked chicken thigh! We aim to accommodate as much as we can, and this is the perfect example is what we’re able to do. Everything is made to order and we do our best to stick to that idea. Happy Wednesday! Pretty awesome all the messages we’ve been getting the last handful of months about dieting and prepped meals for kids in school and playing sports. Probably the best thing you can do for your children is establish a healthy lifestyle to carry on into life as they become adults. There’s so much processed food out there anymore and with the ease of just grabbing and going from the shelves, it makes it such an easy thing to cave into.
