Had a good time today out at the Small Business Saturday Market in Vail. Sales weren't great but they weren't terrible. After the wind died down the weather was perfect for the rest of the day. And I had the best neighbor in the world so totally worth it 🥰

The new bodice is all done! I'm so happy with how this turned out. I've been wanting to do this type of strap design for a long time but just hadn't taken the time to draft out the pattern. I only did a partial mock up after drafting it so didn't really know how it would be after putting in the grommets. And then I had to go and be extra with doing the free motion embroidery with different color fabric scraps 😆 I am sooooo happy it turned out how I had hoped and wasn't a total flop!

This one will fit a variety of sizes from Small-Large due to the fact that it laces at the front and each side. At the smallest, the waist measures about 31.5 inches and can go up to about 39-40 inches with gaps of about 2.5-3 inches between the laces. The strap length can be adjusted too depending on which holes you lace them in 😊

I've done a couple of fun custom orders in the last week. The first, a custom waist cincher made with fabric sent to me by the customer. It was from an old skirt she had so that was nice to be able to turn it into something new for her. The second is for a handkerchief skirt made from this super fun fabric with butterflies, moths and beetles all over it. The colors in this fabric are gorgeous - these pics definitely don't do it justice.

As usual it's been a while since I've posted but I've been busy with orders and also prepping for my first ever vendor fair and it'll be a big one 😀😬 I will be selling next Saturday from 1-6 at the Tucson Convention Center!! I'm super excited...and nervous. Sooo, if you're in the Tucson area come out and see me, my friend Joe from and about another 170 or so vendors. It should be a good time AND it's all indoors 😀
