For as long as I can remember, food has been my life-long friend, companion, and inspiration to being creative in the kitchen and when I'm there, I’m doing exactly what I love and loving what i do. To know that I’m cooking for others and not just myself brings out the best in me... the passion that lives inside my heart. When I was nine, my father took me in the kitchen and taught me how to cook a
nd from then on, cooking was in my blood. My parents both taught me not to be wasteful and to eat everything on my plate because money didn’t grow on trees and that there were less fortunate children in other places of the world that were hungry or didn't have much to eat. Cooking and entertaining is my biggest passion; Within that passion I’ve learned to create a variety of dishes from small to large meals and desserts all made from little ingredients or next to nothing. I’ve come to appreciate good food and quality ingredients which i also learned first hand while attending the Art Institute of California in Sacramento to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Management. I attended school for 4 1/2 years and graduated December 2014 with honors. I now own my own catering business with my partners/former classmates. I'm here to show a whole new side of what I'm made of using my passion to create a world of amazing endeavors, while showcasing my talents & creativity, and bringing a fresh new taste to the table.
