Fair #2 has come and gone! This year has been extra busy for our family making memories with the kids and expanding their show experiences. That also means a lot of extra work for mom, but worth every exhausting minute. 🥰

I may have been quiet on here the last week 🤫 but there has been plenty of shopping and planning going on. So much so that I have revamped the experience to include a little more special moments. 🥰

This November, we're heading to the beautiful Hocking Hills for a weekend of cozy cabins, good food, meaningful conversations, laughter, relaxation, and - most importantly - time to reconnect with YOU.

No pressure to be “on.”
No expectations to have it all together.
No mom guilt required. 😉

Just a weekend to slow down, recharge, meet some amazing women, and remember that you are a person underneath all those responsibilities, too.

Today is a little reminder to appreciate the people who keep things moving- the ones who show up, put in the work, take care of their families, build things, create things, serve their communities, and somehow keep going even when they're tired.

And maybe today is also a reminder that rest is part of the work, too.

Whether you're grilling with family, spending the day outside, catching up with friends, working because that's just what you do, or simply enjoying a quiet day on the couch…

I hope you get a little time to breathe. ❤️

A little reminder for the mom who needs to hear it today…

You don't have to wait until you're completely burned out to take a break.

You don't have to earn rest.

You don't have to have everything handled before you give yourself permission to breathe.

Sometimes you just need a little time away from the noise. A good cup of coffee. A few laughs. A meaningful conversation. A chance to sleep without somebody needing you. 😂

That's part of why Weekend Mom Reboot exists. ❤️

We're creating a weekend where moms can step away from the everyday chaos, slow down, reconnect, and simply be a person for a little while, not just Mom.

Because you matter too. 🌿

Fair week has come and gone, and things are slowing down finally until the next smaller fair.

My kids sure keep me busy 🤣 but I wouldn't trade the busy for anything (most days).

While I was away from the screens I have been busy getting the last minute plans finalized for the first retreat.

It's been a busy few weeks around here! ❤️

Between work, family, farm life, and all the chaos that comes with it, I've been a little quiet over here.

But behind the scenes, the plans for Weekend Mom Reboot are still moving forward! ✨

I can't wait to start sharing more of what we're putting together for this weekend designed for moms to step away from the noise, breathe, laugh, relax, and just be you for a little while.

There are some moments on the farm that don't need a big story.

Just a quiet morning, a pasture full of cows, and a few minutes to stand there and take it all in. 🥰🐄🌿

Yesterday we turned the show girls out into the big pasture, and waking up to see them out there this morning made me smile.

These are the little moments that make all the work worth it. ❤️

Things have been a little quiet around here lately.

Life has been doing what life does, and I've been juggling quite a bit behind the scenes. So while I haven't been posting as much, the planning hasn't stopped! 💚

Thankfully, I have a very dedicated assistant who has been keeping an eye on things.

Bob - Chief Comfort Officer & Head of Office Supervision. 🐈‍⬛

His specialties include:
☕ Supervising coffee breaks
📋 Inspecting important paperwork
💤 Mandatory rest periods
👀 Making sure I don't take myself too seriously

Weekend Mom Reboot is still coming together, one little piece at a time. And I'm excited to start sharing more of the journey again.

Sometimes building a dream takes a little longer than you planned. That's okay. We're still building. 💚🌿

Planning doesn't always happen in a fancy office. Sometimes it happens in an old barn with coffee, notebooks, and a few furry supervisors. Every little step brings Weekend Mom Reboot closer.
